墨尔本大学教育专业在最新QS学科排名中名列世界第五，澳洲第一位，其独特的学科优势吸引了众多海外学生申请。正打算申请墨尔本大学教育硕士(Master of Teaching)请注意：从今年6月27日起该课程的申请流程调整如下：学生必须在递交申请前在线完成Teacher Capability Assessment Tool (TCAT)，墨大教育研究生院将对综合测试结果及学术条件予以审核。

 

 

调整后的申请流程具体为：

 

• 申请者在https://tcat.edu.au/mgse/2017/mteach/上注册用户名;

 

• 注册成功后收到用户登录信息，用以完成online测试;

 

• 测试完成后，注册的Email后收到PDF版本的测试完成确认书;

 

• 申请者须将此PDF连同其他申请材料一起递交;

 

• 其他申请流程不变。

CHANGES TO THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (EFFECTIVE 27 JUNE 2016)

 

Applicants for all Master of Teaching courses are now required to complete the Teacher Capability Assessment Tool (TCAT) (formerly known as TeacherSelector) before they submit their application. The Teacher Capability Assessment Tool (TCAT) is a web-based tool to help identify the optimal mix of knowledge and personal skills to become a successful teacher. It asks about previous experience, motivations to teach; and includes questions on literacy and numeracy skills, other abilities, and disposition. Results from the assessment tool are used in combination with other entry requirements to assess applicants.

 

Steps for applicants:

 

Applicants register their own account and email address via the TCAT website https://tcat.edu.au/mgse/2017/mteach/

 

After registration they will be sent a login and temporary password to access the assessment. Once the assessment is complete, applicants will be sent a confirmation email with a completion receipt (PDF attachment).

 

International students must upload their TCAT completion receipt with their application via the UoM Online application form (eApplication).

 

All other application steps for the Master of Teaching courses are unchanged.
