We are excited to announce some significant changes to English language entry requirements at Griffith University. These changes have been implemented in consideration of the Griffith English Language Enhancement Strategy (GELES), a multi-award winning English support program that ensures Griffith students are best placed to succeed in their studies.

These changes are outlined below and further information will soon be sent about an exciting revision to the Direct Entry Pathway to transition students from Griffith English Language Institute (GELI) to Griffith University and Griffith College.

Standard English entry requirements sub-score 调整最低单项要求

注释：格里菲斯大学6.5单科不低于6.0的课程，最低接受6.5，一个单项5.5，其他不低于6.0(其中写作必须是6.0)

Griffith University will now consider applicants who have an IELTS (Academic) overall score of 6.5 (minimum) but one sub-score of 5.5 (other than Writing). These changes are effective immediately and also apply to all other English language tests accepted by the University, including TOEFL iBT, Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic and ISLPR.

 

 

Entry based on the criteria above will not be guaranteed, as applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. These changes do not apply to degree programs with an English language entry requirement of IELTS 7.0 or higher, or equivalent.
